The Mine

If you’re a student who wants to launch and grow your own business, or connect with other student entrepreneurs working to launch a business, The Mine can help.

We’ve created an environment specifically designed to help student entrepreneurs succeed without the distractions of roommates and coffee shops. Members of the UTEP Student Incubator are surrounded by like-minded students, a staff of consultants, and experienced mentors eager to help develop ideas into profitable businesses. The Student Incubator Mine is more than a place to work; it is the first step to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

CREIE and Loya Staff and student interns provide coaching on business practices, strategic business planning, marketing, and financial modeling for each student business. Students have access to the facilities as well as speakers, workshops, and peer events. Volunteers from the business community serve as mentors and provide guidance in areas of accounting, finance, legal issues, and more.
